Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” Shatters Records; Becomes 1st Indian Movie to Earn Rs 2,000 Crores Globally

Aamir Khan starrer “Dangal” is widely acclaimed for the brilliant depiction of wrestler Geeta Phogat’s life story. The movie seems to be all set to break each and every record in terms of collection and create a new history!

Recently, Forbes Magazine has reported that it’s the first ever Indian film that has made a whopping collection of Rs 2,000 crore globally subsequent to earning Rs 2.5 crore in China on day 53.

As far as other aspects are concerned, it’s the highest-earning live actions sports film of the year as well as the world’s 5th highest-grossing non-English movie.

Previously, it earned the repute of the only non-Hollywood flick which found place in the list of top 16 highest-grossing movies in China.

In China’s box office, “Dangal” has already left behind popular flims, such as “The Jungle Book”, “Titanic 3D”, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”, “Captain America: Civil War”, and is behind merely “Jurassic World” and “Avatar” which are ranked 14th and 15th respectively.
