The Indian cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have left the captainship of the country’s cricket team but his fans still call him by the name of Captain Cool and now we have some great news for all his admirers.
Well, it’s not related to cricket at all! And the big news is that Dhoni is planning to enter Bollywood. But, not as an actor in any movie and might soon become a producer for making the biopic of legendary hockey player, Dhyan Chand.
Here’s what Deccan Chronicle reported,
“Cricketer M.S. Dhoni has acquired the rights to the film and might produce it. It is still not clear whether Karan will be co-producing the film, but Rohit is very much directing the film with Varun.”
Dhoni is presently playing in IPL and it is said that he has purchased the rights for making a movie on Dhyan Chand. He may collaborate with Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar who, last year, made an announcement regarding making a movie on the subject.
It has also been reported that Badrinath of Bollywood, Varun Dhawan, has now shown interest in playing the lead role after refusing it initially.
However, KJo may leave the project as he is upset with director Rohit Vaid for making too many changes in the script. There is no chance of KJo making Vaid leave the project as the latter has its legal rights.
