But, there is no ignoring him right now. There are many things Trump is famous for, but here are a few things which you did not know about him.

Donald Trump attended Military School

At the age of 13, Donald Trump was put in the New York Military Academy (NYMA) due to behavioral problems in his previous school. His parents believed that a little discipline would fix the conduct of this “pretty rough” defiant young fellow. Once there he had some other plans, and he was recalled by the residents as being “a loudmouth bully”.

He launched his own board game

Trump launched a board game called Trump: The Game where you would strike deals with other players, and say “You’re Fired” once the deal was over. It was all about making money in real estate. The PR for the launch read – “Parker Brothers and Donald Trump are challenging consumers to determine whether they have the brains and brawn to be the next Donald Trump.” The consumers weren’t interested and it discontinued more than once.

He restored the Central Park Skating Rink

The Wollman Skating Rink in Central Park in New York was undergoing renovation in 1986 but it came to a standstill due to financial reason. Donald’s office was facing the view of the undergoing construction and he decided to complete the project by taking it under his wing. He finished the construction two months ahead of schedule and well within the budget. He wanted to handle renovation cost himself but the city finally covered the costs and the profits were donated to charity.
