This Bollywood Star Could Potray PM Modi in a Biopic on His Life! Kudos!

Biopics seem to have become the most sought genre by moviemakers in Bollywood as of now and it looks as if a movie on PM Modi’s life story will be on the silver screen very soon.

However, no official announcement has been made in this connection and nothing has been confirmed yet but if the rumors are to be believed, the actor who is going to play the character of Narendra Damodardas Modi is none other than our favorite Khiladi, Akshay Kumar.

Considering the fan following and charisma of Akshay, he is definitely one of the most suitable contenders for this role. It is said that actors Paresh Rawal, Victor Banerjee ad Anupam Kher were also considered for the role but what makes Akshay stand out from them is his proximity to the audience and his clean image.

There has been a considerable change in the choice of movies that Akshay is doing now in comparison to what he used to do earlier. Nowadays, most of his flicks are patriotic in nature or portray the life of real-life heroes. He has also received the National Award for Best Actor for a wonderful performance in “Rustom” in which he has played the character of a real-life Indian Navy officer.

Akshay’s next movie “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” is definitely going to provide strength to PM Modi’s cleanliness campaign and will be instrumental in stopping open defecation in the country. He is also work on “Padman” which is again related to a real-life character.

While there is no confirm news about Akshay playing PM Modi, the CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihlani and BJP politician Shatrughan Sinha are already supporting his candidature. The actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha said to DNA,

“Akshay is the Mr Clean of India. His image goes well with the image of the New Shining India.”

Here’s what the CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihlani said,

“Akshay has risen from humble working class beginnings to become a national star, just like Modiji. We are certainly looking at a strong possibility of Akshay playing Modiji.”
