Early Life
Italian descent, Italia Ricci was born Stephanie Ricci in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She graduated from Queen’s University and has worked for causes such as Water Can, a non-profit that creates waterholes in Africa. In addition to being an ambassador for Stand Up To Cancer, Ricci supported the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
In July 2008, Ricci began dating Canadian actor Robbie Amell.
Career
Ricci began her career at the age of 21. She made her major acting debut in American Pie: Beta House in 2007. She then had a recurring role on the Disney XD series Aaron Stone. Additionally, she played Plain White T’s ex-girlfriend in the music video ‘Hate’. She began appearing in American productions in 2009 with minor roles in Greek, House, and How I Met Your Mother. As Sasha in the Comedy Central series Secret Girlfriend, she got a recurring role in the same year.
