India-Australia encounters are probably the most cherished with both teams fighting hard to bring their country one up over the other. The competition is fierce and both of them have the best of the lot when it comes to batsmen, fielders or bowlers.
The start of the first day of the First Test Match in a tough series between these two countries in Pune and nothing could be going our way. The two top-order batsmen were having their way and were batting at their best in the first session. The opening pair of Matt Renshaw and David Warner put up a partnership of 82 runs for the team until David got out to a swinging delivery of Umesh Yadav. At the end of the first session, Australia was 82-1.
Something was in the wicket cause when David got out on the third delivery of the 28th over so did Renshaw who went back to the pavilion leaving two new batsmen on the crease.
The two new batsmen were Steve Smith and Shaun Marsh, let’s make it clear that the both the top order were not out and Matt Renshaw came back from Retired Hurt to score 64 runs and had left because he was not feeling well and top scored the innings after returning.
The Indian batting line up on the other hand scored a 105 for 10 wickets and are not looking pretty even though they got out the visitors on a humble 260 for 10 wickets.
One ball, two batsmen sent back to pavilion.
